Domenico and Gioia Biography

Started dancing together from the very beginning at the age of 10 , thanks to thepassion and support of their parents: Luciano , Lina , Sergio and Rosella.

They became 7 times Italian Champions from the junior up to the Professional.

In their early stages of the International competitive career have been:

FINALIST BLACKPOOL JUNIOR & INTERNATIONAL LONDON
WORLD VICE-CHAMPIONS YOUTH (Under 18)
CHAMPIONS BLACKPOOL DANCE FESTIVAL UNDER 21
CHAMPIONS U.S.B.C UNDER 21 (United States Ballroom Championship)

In January 2001 they reach the Final Top Six positions in all World top events. Fromthen they were consecutively in every Final for 12 years in a row till the end oftheir Professional career in 2013, dancing the amazing number of more than 300f inals in a row.
They did an extraordinary jump from the 6th position to tie to first place in just oneyear.Infact in 2002 became Vice-Champions in all events being separated from Gold byextremely small margin in World Championship, German Open championship andat Blackpool Dance Festival ( where result was decided by Rule 11)

They then became undefeated Amateur Champions for 3 years consecutively bywinning all events.

They won more the one hundred competitions in a row.

Turned professional on October 2006 and straight from their first competitionbecame Grand Finalist in all major event consecutively for the next following years, also winning the Wdsf European and World Professional titles.Here are their Professional achievments:

After their retirement from the competition in 2013 with a Farewell show performedduring the German Open Championship in Stuttgart, they are now active teachers, Lecturers and Judges, trying to spread the love for ballroom dance every where inthe world. The biggest thank for all their achievements goes to their great teachers Giordano Vanone and Catia Antonioli-Vanone as without them none of these would havebeen possible .
